What is uTorrent Remote?

 

μTorrent (uTorrent) Remote is a remote control that lets you access μTorrent running on your home computer-- from anywhere on the internet, including most mobile phones and tablets.

Just create an account from the μTorrent (uTorrent) client on your computer, get the app or log in at https://remote.utorrent.com, and you're done. There's no complicated network setup required.

How do I get started?  How do I create an account?

First, create an account from within your client.  This is simple.  Follow these quick instructions.
Second, get Remote:
Android users: Install the μTorrent Remote Android app here.
Windows phone users: Install the μTorrent Remote Windows Phone app here.
iOS users and others: Log in directly to μTorrent Remote on your internet browser.
 Go to https://remote.utorrent.com.
Third, log into Remote with the account you made in step one.
That’s it.

Access µTorrent Remote on Your iPhone

A lot of you have been asking if there will be a native app for µTorrent on iOS and while we haven’t gotten to that just yet, we do have a way for you to easily receive the benefits of µTorrent Remote right from your iPhone or iPad. Think of it as anywhere access to µTorrent, where you can add/start/stop/monitor downloads, on the go.

To set µTorrent Remote on your iOS device, go to https://remote.utorrent.com with the mobile Safari browser and then click the “share” button on the bottom of the browser (where you normally add bookmarks). Then, choose “Add to Home Screen,” and you should get see the beautiful µTorrent icon on your iPhone or iPad.
