HOW TO ADD/SUBMIT SITEMAP TO ASK.COM



Submitting your sitemap to ask is another great way of driving massive traffic to your blog/site, though it can not be compared to google and bing, but it shouldn't be ignore if you are really seeking a huge traffic. Ask doesn't have webmaster like google and bing, but accept xml sitemap submission, follow the steps below on how to submit your sitemap.
  • If you are using a self hosted site like .com, .org e.t.c. copy the code below and paste it your your browser address bar and hit enter.

http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http://YOUR BLOG URL/sitemap.xml

Change "YOUR BLOG URL" to your blog url
Example: http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http://realcombiz.com/sitemap.xml
  • If your are on a free hosted/platform blog like .blogspot, .typepad, .wordpress e.t.c. use the code below

http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http://YOUR BLOG URL/atom.xml

OR

http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http://YOUR BLOG URL/rss.xml

Change "YOUR BLOG URL" to your blog/site url, as use in the example above.
After submission, you will receive a notification that your sitemap submission was successful. That's all.
